Since 2018, the Collibra Excellence Awards have been our way of shining a light on the organizations and individuals doing the real work — building data cultures, tackling complex challenges, and creating foundations that let people trust and use data with confidence.
This year's customer awards celebrate those who are unifying governance across every data source, use case, and user — and proving that unlocking the true value of data takes more than the right technology. It takes courage, culture, and community.
This year's customer award categories:
Acceleration All-Star — for organizations that joined Collibra after January 2025 and hit the ground running with rapid implementation, measurable impact, and strong adoption right out of the gate
Adoption Hero — for teams that did the cultural work, not just the technical work, bringing business and technical users alike into the fold and making governed data accessible to everyone who needs it
Collibra Community Champion of the Year (individual) — for the community member who knows that Data Confidence™ is a team sport by sharing knowledge, sparking conversations, and helping fellow data professionals navigate their governance journeys
Collibra Ranger of the Year (individual) — for the certified expert who turns governance knowledge into real business acceleration, proving that governance isn't a blocker and is the foundation for moving faster (must be a certified Collibra Ranger on or before January 2026)
Data Citizen of the Year (individual) — for the visionary leader who makes governance feel less like a constraint and more like a competitive advantage, building the culture and trust that lets their people use data safely and move with confidence
Data Program of the Year — for the organization that has unified governance across their entire data estate and is now scaling the results – a lasting foundation with the ambition to keep accelerating on top of it
Trendsetter — for the team that isn't waiting for the perfect moment to pursue AI. They're building the governance foundation now and moving faster on AI opportunities because of it, showing their industry what's possible when governance is the accelerator, not the obstacle
