Notifications
Improved notification settings offer greater control over email notifications and their frequency
Manage Collibra notifications directly from the Notification Center
Notification Center now includes comments where you're tagged, replies to your threads, assigned assessments and workflow tasks
Notifications within the Collibra Platform will be viewable for a longer duration
AI Governance
Initiate workflows with a click: Configure the “Register AI use case” button to trigger a workflow upon user selection
Enhanced lifecycle management: Lifecycle management is now extended to AI Agent assets and their child asset types, in addition to the already-available AI Model and AI Use Case asset types and child asset types
Streamlined AI use case information: Access relevant AI use cases directly within email notifications for metadata changes
Attach supporting sign-off files: Users can now attach supporting files when completing sign-off activities
Data Marketplace
We’ve enhanced the search functionality in Data Marketplace with the following improvements:
Refined search results: Search now leverages relation indexes based on asset type group relations
Consistent user interface: The standalone Data Marketplace search page has been redesigned to now be consistent with other Collibra apps, offering a more consistent user experience
Intuitive layout: The "Search" field is now directly visible on the page, rather than the header
Streamlined asset preview: Easily open an asset preview by clicking the asset name hyperlink
Clearer terminology: We renamed it “Need help?” section to “Actions” for better clarity
Acquisitions
Collibra recently announced two exciting acquisitions to further strengthen our platform and portfolio:
Raito: Collibra has acquired Raito – a pioneering data access governance platform purpose-built for the complexities of modern data and AI ecosystems. This acquisition advances our vision of delivering a single command center for organizations to confidently use data and AI, anywhere, at any scale.

End of life for CLI lineage harvester: The standalone CLI lineage harvester has been replaced by technical lineage via Edge, which offers a more streamlined and efficient solution for managing technical lineage. CLI lineage harvester will officially reach its end-of-life on July 31, 2026.

End of life for custom technical lineage single-file definition: Custom technical lineage enables you to create tailored technical lineage for data from sources not currently supported by our existing integrations. "Single-file definition" has been replaced by the "batch definition" option, which brings significant improvements and benefits. The single-file option will officially reach its end-of-life on July 31, 2026.

Reminder about Data Quality (DQ) Java upgrade: As part of our commitment to enhancing security, performance and user experience, Collibra DQ started transitioning to Java 17 in February 2025. Collibra will officially end support for Java 8 and Java 11 in August 2025 (2025.08).
