technical data quality rules

Hi - i have business data quality rules catalogued in the data quality rule asset type.
I now want to catalogue the technical data quality rules too.
I can’t see any suitable out of the box asset types.
Potential solution is to create a new asset type for this purpose and join this to both the existing column asset type and the data quality rule asset type containing the business DQ rules…
Any other alternative suggestions appreciated.

Hi Matthew,

Perhaps the out-of-the-box ‘Data Quality Metric’ asset type suits your needs. Relationships to both the column and the DQ rule are part of the standard global assignment as well.
