Diagram Configuration displays initial asset multiple times
Summary: cammiroberts describes an issue with diagrams where the initial asset appears multiple times in the view. Although the pin icon identifies them as the same, this repetition can be confusing for users. cammiroberts seeks advice on best practices for configuring views to prevent this scenario from occurring.
Oftentimes when I load the diagram for an asset the view will split out into multiple flows showing the starting asset twice (or more). The pin icon identifies them as the same asset but it is confusing for users to see the same element twice. Is there a best practice regarding configuring views to avoid this?

·1 year agoThis will heavily depend on how you configure the diagram view.
I don't really know if there are any best practices for this but the first thing you can check is why the two parts of your diagram are disconected. I think in most cases where the whole diagram is connected this behaviour doesn't appear that often.
If you are comfortable with sharing your diagram configuration I would take a look at it.
