Search Results Default Settings
Summary: Gian-Luca Matsuda inquired whether the default filters set by an Admin in the search view would apply to all users, not just to the admin's view. Gian-Luca Matsuda provided a screenshot for reference and expressed a desire for these settings to be universally applied whenever people use the search function. The author sought confirmation on this from the community.
Hello,
Can anyone confirm for me that, as the Admin, if I pre-set filters in the default view of the search, that they will appear that way for every user? See screenshot for example. I would like that to be the default setting when people search, not just for me.
Thank you!

Activate 'search tabs by audience' in Settings > Search > Preview.
Go to Settings > Search > Search Tabs
In the Data Marketplace group, use 'add subtab'.
Give the tab a name, for example 'Golden applications', and apply your selection. Then press save.
You can now drag that tab ahead of the Data Marketplace subtab in that group.
Save
This is now the 'primary' tab for your audience. With search tabs by audience, you can also refine who sees which tab using roles and groups, as well as activate the Catalog and Business Glossary tabs. For example, using the Catalog tab for more technical assets means Data Marketplace content can be reserved for shoppable assets.
Please give this a try, and let me know your feedback.
