Migrating into CDQ

Scenario is porting rules held in existing DQ applications into CDQ in an automated fashion. Say a customer is moving off IDQ and want to port rules into CDQ for example. Is there a migration path?

Hi Jeff,

We do not have an automated ‘translator’. We have been able to move thousands of rules in one swoop. We’ve also had to import rules with minor modifications. Others will not transfer at all due to proprietary languages or overly complex rules engines.

One should export the set of rules to a spreadsheet to assess level of effort / testing.
