Hi All, need input on this:

We want the ability to identify all technology assets involved at our top business asset level.
We have 3 levels of business assets (Top level, 2nd level and 3rd level) where the 3rd level down has a relationship to the technolgy asset involved.
We're unable to group and identify Technology Assets at the top level business asset in the Collibra export.
Our workaround is to use a diagram that collapses the sub-levels and shows us technology assets underneath.
We want similar capability at the flat-view level that helps us to export the data

Assume you have (OOTB only please, although you could have your own Asset Model but either way ... )

Line of Business groups [Business Asset] Data Domain
Data Domain has sub-type Data Domain (iteratively)
Data Domain classifies [Asset] Technology Asset (presumably System)

And you want this for export. Right. I don't believe you can build that with Views (Global or Domain), you cannot export hierarchical views and you cannot show remote relationships in a flat view. You can visualise it in Diagram Views, which you can then Print ;-)

Best way to do this is via Reporting Data Layer, populated either Insights or Output Module or the Graph API, subject to due diligence on any functional gaps.
