Hello all,
Is it possible to customise how the home page looks like for different set of users (department A, department B etc.) . For example - various options/information present in the home page must be different.

I also use dashboards. I created two generic dashboards. One is a “Welcome” dashboard that is visible to all users-even new users who have not yet been assigned to a user group. The other is simply called “Dashboard;” it is the default for users whose role is not defined by a custom dashboard. This dashboard is replaced by a custom dashboard if/when the user is assigned to one of the appropriate user groups.
I then have custom dashboards that target specific user groups. These have widgets that are appropriate for the role. Each dashboard also has a text widget that contains instructions that are specific to that particular user group.

think the Dashboards are a great possibility to design different entries for different target groups.
Hence I see a lot of potential in improvement - due to the fact, that your need IT knowhow to really design nice and smart dashboards. We would apprechiate, if this would support more WYSIWYG easy to customize.
Hope this will come in the near future, because this is the face to our users. And the better it fits their needs, the more benefit the users will get out of the tool.

You can create Dashboards in Collibra and share them with specific Roles / User Groups. If you prefer to make it even more granular, you can share with specific users.
This way you can customise the login page (home page) for the users.
