Display certains columns in a diagram

Hello

I did a diagram with the following relations

Shema belongs to Database
Shema contains table
Table contains columns
Columns represents Data attribute
Data attributes is source for Report attribute
Report attribute complies to Data quality rule
…

The problem is that the diagram display all Columns even if they are not related to a Data attribute (and it makes a lot)
I would like to have only the columns related to the Data Attribute

I tried to “play” with the Depth (4) and it works but It not permits me to display the schema and database relation.

Is there a way to have all the relations I want and filter on the column ?

Unfortunately, what you’re trying to achieve may not be “straightforward” to do with digrams, because diagrams filters support relation filters only if you provide “specific” values to target of relations.

One workaround may be the usage of Business Qualifiers, you could add a business qualifier to all columns that are linked to a Data Attribute (a view could help identifying those) and filter your diagram by that Business Qualifier. Coaching Services may be able to help you in doing so.
