Drop-down form property types: show only a few

I have a custom workflow, where I need a drop-down to show few roles. However, when you create a form element with type Role, you are able to select all the roles in your environment. Is there a way to show only a few?

Hi, this does not work anymore. Is it because of the workflow designer? I am stating 2 problems here.

We have the new UI feature in our environment and I have noticed when the start form does not have the form reference (workflow created & deployed from eclipse), then the start form does not render.
when I create the workflow in workflow designer with form reference, the start form renders but the proposedValues are no longer effective. It lists all the roles in the environment.
I tried giving the roles like in the example above .
I also tried giving the role UUID. In both cases it still lists all the roles in the environment
