Easy To Read Operating Model Diagram - Help

I have downloaded and installed the OMRE marketplace solution and have been playing with the diagram views…but I still can’t get a view that shows the operating model that is clean enough for a business person to use. The inbound and outbound properties of the diagram customization are kind of confusing. Has anyone come across a good set of documentation related to customizing the views? Or has someone come across something that they feel has been well received by a business partner? Thank you in advance.

@shannon.els - We used the OMRE (Marketplace tool) to build our operating model as assets…figuring out the complexities of the traceability diagram and how to properly get the right relationships is the tricky part that I am running into. Do you have any images or examples that you can share to get me pointed in the right direction? How you boxed certain relationships etc?

We normally build an asset model first that shows the initial set of asset types and their relationships for a specific case. Once we have that asset model we make a one-to-one replica in a diagram view of the asset model. This supports the adoption process and also makes requirements gathering easier.

Hi Shannon, can you elaborate little bit more on what you mean when you say " we make a replica…"

Once we have the relationships defined, is not the diagram view just a display of the same?
