Enable edge site to run on demand basis for data ingestion

Hi All,

We have installed edge site to configure Snowflake connector in Collibra using JDBC driver. Connected and ingested metadata from Snowflake database to Collibra successfully.

Now the plan is to automate the ingestion process to refresh metadata once a day. Currently, the Edge site is running 24/7 hence incur unnecessary cost.

Would like to explore the options to run Edge site on-demand/ on-scheduled basis for metadata refresh.

We have heard similar requests from other clients are are currently reviewing possible solutions that we can fold into our roadmap. I will reach out to your CSM once we have more concrete plans for execution and timing.
