Importing glossary - But the definition does not appear
I was trying to import my business glossary and had the following fields. But the definition that i populated in my excel is not getting populated in the Application.
If i click the asset and navigate, the next page, its description is populated along with the other details.
What is it that is missed.
Columns:
Full name
name
Definition
Status
domain
Asset type
Asset id
Domain id
Acronym

·3 years ago · Edited@k.a.venkateswaran.accenture.com Is the issue that the Business Term Asset is being created, but the specific field for Definition isn’t populating? Or is the Asset not even being created?
If the Asset isn’t being created at all, I’m still pretty new to Collibra import files, but I didn’t see a Community column in your list of fields. If you have the Domain ID, I’m not sure that’s strictly necessary, but just in case I thought I’d mention it!
If the Asset exists and is just missing the Definition attribute (and you’ve mapped it correctly during the import), I’d look for special characters in the Excel cell that might be throwing something off or forcing it to get kicked out or not recognized as text during the upload.

·3 years ago · EditedHi, @k.a.venkateswaran.accenture.com Are you sure you mapped import excel file properly? Definition column to Definition attribute? And do you have Definition attribute in your scope for BT?
