For sbi-integration-library, I get the error below.

Hi @christopher.lynch.exlservice.com,

To try to address the issue you are encountering, can you please try enabling the HTTP requests logging by setting this configuration property in your integration application.properties file? (Note: this will log the username and password)

collibra.log.http-requests-at-info=true

Once done, would it be possible to run the integration and forward the application logs as a private message?

Note: Please remove any sensitive information/credentials prior to sending the logs.

Its been mentioned by Springboot Team in their debugging steps. But I just want to stress that in my case the step to make sure tehre was no trailing slashes on the collibra URL helped. In my case the URL ended with “.com/” and this caused the error reported in this thread. It has to end with “.com”.

So for anyone with this issue give that a check. Even if you havent touched the application.properties file in ages and it worked fine in the past. Ours had worked before with the trailing slash just fine until (I guess) a DGC update exposed the issue

To check what the issue might be, can you please try running the following curl request from the command prompt/terminal?

curl -X POST "https://<instance>.collibra.com/rest/2.0/auth/sessions" -H "accept: application/json" -H "Content-Type: application/json" -d "{\"username\":\"<myUsername>\",\"password\":\"<myPassword>\"}"

where:

<instance> should be replaced with the Collibra sub-domain.
<myUsername> should be replaced with the Collibra user account username.
<myPassword> should be replaced with the Collibra user account password.

This should return a csrfToken as the response body, a JSESSIONID cookie and the response status code should be 200. Thanks

Hello, the above code returned a json containing a csrf token and nothing else. But it seemed like it worked correctly. We are using sso as our login method.

I’m curious if any other configurations are needed for this step of the program to work? I don’t have everything filled out, but I do have most of the collibra configurations properties filled.

I’ve tried to deploy a couple times now.
The Collibra URL in the properties file is https ://wlgore-dev.collibra.com
There is no proxy, however I’m not sure about any firewall settings.
The Collibra instance version is 2022.10.0

Regarding the above error when connecting to the Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud instance, can you please confirm whether:

This is a one-time issue – maybe try to deploy the integration again
The Collibra URL defined in the properties file has the following format: https://<sub-domain>.collibra.com
Between the machine where the Spring Boot integration is running and the Collibra instance if there is a proxy being used or a firewall that might be blocking the connection?
What is the version of your Collibra Data Intelligence Cloud instance?

Regarding the CSRF token issue, just to keep you updated that a workaround inside the Spring Boot Integration Library will be released by this week and that the Collibra instances should be upgraded later on.

Can you please confirm whether your Collibra instance version has build number 20220302161146?

If it is the case, can you please open a support ticket with Collibra as the issue appears to be that the response of the login request (HTTP POST /rest/2.0/auth/sessions) sent to the Collibra instance API does not contain the CSRF token. Therefore, the above error is being thrown.

No changes made to the code, except of course property file. (denodo-to-collibra-integration.cma) file was imported into DGC. So far trying to run using mock data only. Here is the stack trace:

Regarding the latest error – “Error creating bean with name ‘entryPointController’”, can you please advise whether any changes were made to the Denodo integration?

Also, can you please provide the stack trace/more information regarding the error?

My collibra URL in the properties file was: https://xyx.collibra.com/rest/2.0. Based on the logs, it should simply be
https://xyz.collibra.com. After I corrected it, 401 error no longer occurs. Have run into another separate problem though. (Error creating bean with name ‘entryPointController’)

Thanks for trying the Collibra Integration Library.

Regarding the 401/unauthorised error, to confirm that the correct values are being sent, can you please add the following to the Denodo integration properties file. This will log all the HTTP requests made to Collibra instance at INFO level. Note: it will include the login request credentials/any other sensitive information.

collibra.log.http-requests-at-info=true

After doing so, can you please test the integration and then confirm from the logs that the correct credentials are being sent? (You can search for “rest/2.0/auth/sessions” from the logs.)
