·2 years agoHi,
This is super useful and has helped to create report on the comprehensive dashboard. But the snapshot is too huge to be refreshed on a scheduled basis.
I suppose there is a plugin : https://marketplace.collibra.com/listings/output-module-to-parquet/
This would help create the same parquet files from Output Module. But unable to run this package due to integration library version compatibility issues.
I have raised the issue in the below post.
https://community.collibra.com/conversations/insights-data-access/output-module-to-parquet/66ebee39e15cf8648e815956
Kindly help if anyone has successfully done this integration.

·3 years ago · EditedHi Tom,
regarding your first point, we have written a simple Glue python shell job that in few lines retrieves the data from API using request package, it extracts the zip into a s3 bucket using zipfile and boto3 and using boto3, it also generates a view which have a query that uses only the latest snapshot/partition . We also use authlib library for jwt authentication.
The Job runs daily and provides convenient backup of the data and good base for analytics.
The new python 3.9 shell jobs are very easy to use including packages installation https://aws.amazon.com/blogs/big-data/aws-glue-python-shell-now-supports-python-3-9-with-a-flexible-pre-loaded-environment-and-support-to-install-additional-libraries/

·2 years agoHello Everyone,
may I ask how is possible to download Insight Data for our CIP instance? I havent find that information in documentation, only mention:
in Collibra Data Intelligence Platform:
"Due to security considerations, you cannot access the data directly on Collibra Data Intelligence Platform. A REST API is created to enable you to download your reporting data to a local server or your computer"
But where is that API?
thank you

·5 years ago · EditedHi, please where it is possible to download DDL scripts for Reporting Layer version 1.4 that is documented at https://productresources.collibra.com/docs/reporting/1.4/#Reporting/co_reporting-intro.htm ?
This Marketplace listing allows to download version 1.3 only that doesn’t have DDL for complex relations.
Thank you.

·5 years ago · EditedI suppose you downloaded files from the release history at the bottom of the page. Try the “Package” link in the top instead.
I’ve just created an entry in Ideation platform:
