Articulation Score in Workflow

Hello,

I would like to change my articulation score automatically via a workflow. Unfortunately when the score is calculated every day on a business term, the history is spammed. Is there an API existing for articulation score? Currently we are changing the score via attributes and that is why our history is polluted by these daily changes.

Hey Badr,

I tried specifying and articulation in the change asset API, but it doesn’t stick, and I wan’t able to find anything elsewhere in the API.

That said, there may be a couple of things you could consider:

Reduce the granularity of the articulation by removing some of the attribute-based articulation rules.
Would you be able to calculate the articulation based on Status instead of attributes?

Finally, to what extent (and how) is the noisiness of the history impacting you?

Hi Tom!

Thanks for your answer and infos. In fact in our case we have 5 boolean attributes (flags), each time that a flag is set to true we add 20 to our articulation score. And conversely when the flag become false, the articulation score decrease by 20. I do not think that we are able to calculate the score based on the status…

This way of calculating the score has a big impact on the history because it daily deletes and adds scores to the asset. This means that every- day we have at least 2 changes in the history. It becomes therefore difficult to see the “real” changes done.
