Categorizing fields/relationships

Has anyone figured out a method of categorizing fields & relationships? For example, for Data Set, I need to identify some fields as "Demographic", while others are "Financial" or "Security", etc. I know how to group them in the UI, but I need to go beyond that at tie them to a reference architecture. Yes, I'm trying to edit the metadata about my metadata!

Have you thought about leveraging Tags for this? We use Tags to help bucket and increase SEO for the end users.

@ahorton - How would I associate a tag with an attribute type or relationship type? Its sounds like a great idea if I can do it.

Yes! This can be done with the New UI and it's very nice.

You define the Layout as a part of the Asset Type's Scope, https://productresources.collibra.com/docs/collibra/latest/Content/Assets/Tailored%20Asset%20Pages/ta_edit_layout.htm

You can add your own Sections and drag characteristics (attribute & relationships) in there.

@grantrollerson1 I understand how to use the layout for groupings but I understand that is for display/data entry purposes only. I might have several financial groupings, or HR groupings in the layout, but I need to list/display ALL of the financial attributes/relationships together also. In other words, my metadata metadata tagging may be different from my display. Another way to look at it would be I need to tag all of my attributes/relationships as the type of compliance (Government, Industry, etc) which will be distinct from whether they are HR or Finance. Does that make sense?
