However, we have implemented color customization to make Collibra look more a part of our internal organization environment, and I have found it impossible to update the color of the tabs. Any tips on how to update the color of the tabs would be appreciated!

OP5 years ago · EditedHello Erin, and what I cannot figure out is how to decide what tabs should stay as the 5 visible ones and which ones should be in the drop-down menu.
Tabs cannot be moved either.
I understand this feature is experimental and still to be developed.

·5 years ago · EditedIf you number the dashboard names in the tabs, they will display in the order you want. As far as which ones should be the five that display, if you have dashboards that are relevant across the organization, such as Homepage, New Item, or Data Steward, I would display those first, then allow the department level dashboards to display in alphabetical order in the drop down menu. It would be handy if you could choose the number of tabs to be in the initial display.

OP5 years ago · EditedThanks Erin, good idea actually. the interesting thing is that, in the drop down menu, things are NOT displayed alphabetically, or better, they seem to privilege capital letters over small ones (unix style:)).
So we have:
AH
HH
MMD
MRL
Firefly
etc etc

OP5 years ago · EditedI’ve had users say they like the new look . I use Collibra too much to say since I’m the System Admin. But the latest revision, which we have in Dev and Test, shows Tasks on the right-hand side of the screen. I don’t like that. I can understand that it may be easier to view the record while looking at the task, but if you have textareas to fill in, they seem very cramped. I would like to see the Task Window as a moveable object that still shows up full-screen width but can be moved up or down if it is blocking something.

OP5 years ago · EditedThanks Laurie, I am getting used to the new layout, although the former one was fine. I do not see any specific pros or cons with the new UI.
However, the non configurable tabs are the one thing about Collibra I have most issues with.
Nothing can be done with them, it is a feature not ready for production.
Function-wise, Collibra remains the best though.
