Dashboard Templates

Hey there,
I’ve seen cool Dashboards here and there during the product demo, and I would like to know if it’s possible to get the templates for these dashboards. I know there’s already one in the Marketplace, but it has been a long time since it was updated, and I don’t see the code editor in the text widget that convenient in Collibra…
It would help me a lot to have these templates to make my own dasboards

You can also upload images to an Asset, Domain or Community and use the Download link as a source for your images without having to restart your instance. Only managed to get it to work for images though (tried css files, and IFrames for HTML and PDF)

·5 years ago · EditedIn the Collibra Marketplace DashBoard Design Kit it mentions (slide 50 in the Powerpoint document) to add host images you can add them to your customisations folder, where is this located in the Console?

Not Kristof, but to implement the dashboard templates, you have to copy paste the HTML code into Collibra:
Once you’ve downloaded the package in the marketplace, open the html templates repository, open one of the html pages with a tool like Visual Studio Code, make some changes if you want, and finally copy all the code and put it in a Text widget in Collibra (available when you want to create/modify a dashboard), in the Source code menu (see below)

As from version 5.7.2 of the Collibra platform a dashboard widget is included. This widget gives a user the ability to show a template within an iframe by pointing it to the right URL. Popular BI Tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Sisense or Looker can share their reports to this widget.
On our Marketplace we made 3 Tableau report templates available:
These are working together with our Reporting API to receive the data.

Unfortunately we are not on 5.7… yet !
But what I meant by dashboard was the “dashboard” tab in Collibra, where you can create a homepage and / or different landing pages for different users. Like @arthur.burkhardt showed, above, I’d like to have the templates for these pages so that I can reproduce them for our use-case

The text widget is used across the platform including the dashboard. The security fix blocks the mentioned HTML tags from being used. For now this security measure is switched off to guarantee the backwards compatibility, This fix was introduced via a maintenance release, so we cannot break existing functionality.
The widget @hans.cornette is referring to, allows to run an iframe in the Collibra dashboard. That widget is not subject to the security fix.

There are 2 widgets that support i-frames. One was introduced in support of our Insights reporting and allows you to embed a Tableau dashboard in the Collibra dashboard. The second one is a true i-frame widget for our dashboards. You can download it from our marketplace: https://marketplace.collibra.com/listings/iframe-in-dashboard-widget/. It’s compatible with the Collibra platform version 5.5 and higher.

There are icon packs hosted by Collibra that are used in some generic dashboards like the “Home” Collibra dashboards. Are those available for customers to reuse?

We will reach out to you off-line, but, some of these dashboards are optimized for targeted use-cases (Privacy, for example) and they work optimally with the underlying content/workflows/registers, etc.
