How should one acquire Reference data and standards for it to populate that in Collibra ?
SAP SF, Microsoft Dynamics,IBM Maximo are some of the source systems which are used.

There many ways to do it, and it’s all customization: you need to extract the data and push it through the APIs.

OP4 years ago · EditedThanks , if I have a Vendor provided MDM solution say Profisee or Ataccama for example do you think hosting reference data close with MDM tables will work better or hosting Reference data in Collibra will be better.
I see that managing reference data in Collibra is a struggle as described in the link below-

·4 years ago · EditedWell, different use cases, so I would give the typical consultant answer: it depends.
RDM in Profisee et al. will be better to curate and manage your data (data quality, deduplication, approval, mappings, etc.)
RDM in Collibra will allow to surface data in a meaningful way. For example if you’re looking for data in a geographical region, and the geography is an attribute of the data set, you may want to catalog that, so that you can find it.
