How to track Collibra for Desktop users?

Question

Collibra allows us to track logged in and registered users on the platform. However, there is no way to track how many users are accessing the Collibra for Desktop application.

Is there a way to track Collibra Desktop usage?

Collibra for Desktop is also known as Collibra Everywhere or Collibra-On-The-Go.

Normally it is sufficient to enable Analytics in the Console.
Click Data Governance Center > Configuration > 1.g Enable Usage analytics

After restarting the Desktop app analytics will be gathered.

Your CSM will be able to give you insights in the monthly users, number of searches, asset pages viewed etc.

My CSM was able to give me a report on info for Collibra Desktop users.
