How to use/integrate Java applications (Springboot application developed via
REST API's) in DGC Workflow

Question

We have appllications that are developed by consuming Collibra REST API’s using Java Springboot and we want to use /integrate these applications inside the workflow. Inshort, if we want to trigger workflow to call any application developed via REST API’s , how we can impliment it.

Any thoughts is appreciated.

There is a spring boot template for that: Collibra Workflow Event-Driven Triggering for Spring Boot Integrations - Collibra Marketplace

Essentially, the workflow assigns a task to the springboot user. The bootspring app reads collibra on a regular basis and takes action whenever necessary.
