Layer classification for SQL-related Asset
Schema, Table and Column assets are grouped as logical assets regarding the icon theme (yellow) and their Data Structure’s parent asset in Collibra.
I could barely explain that these assets are classified as Logical instead of Technological. But it’s feasible when considering their meanings abstracted from SQL definitions or any physical support (file, …).
However, what about the “Database View” and “Foreign Key” ? They clearly belong to the physical layer in my opinion.
What could be the rationale to keep these assets in their default color configuration in the lineage diagram ?
