Lineage and Viewing Code
When using the Lineage tool you can view the code. Is there a way to search the code for a column name. In other lineage tools it highlights the column name for you. That doesn’t appear to be a feature in Collibra lineage. The browser search doesn’t want to search that section of the page either.

·4 years ago · EditedHello Kim, you are correct, the current lineage search does not highlight the column names in the code view unfortunately. I would suggest to create an idea in Collibra’s ideation portal so that it can be picked up by the current lineage product manager as a feature request. You may head to productresources.collibra.com/ideation-platform for this.
However, there is a workaround that you can try. You should be able to use the web browser text search feature (Ctrl+F on Windows PC, Chromebook, or Linux system), or Command+F (on a Mac) on your keyboard to find and highlight any content in the code section.

OP4 years ago · EditedCtrl +F doesn’t appear to work either. It searches all of the other panes but not the pane where the sql code is.

OP4 years ago · EditedI just got ctrl+F to work. I had to click inside the SQL Code pane and then search.

OP4 years ago · EditedHOWEVER, if you scroll down and then scroll back the words that were highlighted are now NOT highlighted. So I had to search AGAIN.

·4 years ago · EditedHello Kim, I feel your pain, this workaround is not perfect.
For this reason, and to advocate for a more seamless experience in the product, head to the ideation portal, this will give more visibility to your need so that it is converted into a feature request.
