Meaning of the Hosted attribute on S3 Asset Types?
The Hosted attribute on S3 asset types is not being populated via the synchronization process and I’m unclear as to the purpose/meaning of the attribute. The valid values are Internal or External.

OP5 years ago · EditedI think I see. The Hosted attribute is on the S3 File System asset type, so that would indicate that everything we have in the particular AWS Account is either internal to the company or external. Then the same for S3 Bucket, if you can’t define it at the S3 File System level because it crosses between internal and external, then maybe you could add the S3 Bucket level…or on down to Directory, File Group, or File. Basically to be defined at which ever level would be applicable for our content in that area. Is that correct?

This could mean that the S3 content is internal to the company or from an external source.
