Quick Tip for new Google Analytics accounts

Hi All,

When creating a new Google Analytics account, this defaults to GA4 format which is not currently supported by Collibra (see https://productresources.collibra.com/ideation-platform/?id=DGCPLAT-I-370 ). However, when a new property is created, you can revert to UA:

Create Property
Show advanced options
Create both a Google Analytics 4 and a Universal Analytics property

then to retrieve the tracking code:

Admin \ (Select UA Property) \ Tracking Info \ Tracking Code

Send this UA code to Collibra Support to add to Data Intelligence Cloud.
