Read only OOTB fields
I have discovered that there are several fields that I cant enter data into. One example is “Is Primary Key”. What is the solution to this problem? I have some tables/columns that I need to document, but for various reasons cant use an API. or other automated means
Any thoughts? Thanks

I followed the steps in the document and am still receiving the error: " You do not have the right permission(s) to perform operation ‘ADD’ on resource ‘BooleanAttribute{BooleanValue:true]’. Original message: You are not allowed to add, edit, or remove an attribute whose type is read only.’

Yes, some of the attributes are restricted and set to read only by default, and can only be written to by catalog ingestion. However, there is a workaround.
Here is a list of restricted attributes. It is still current even though the document is a few years old.

The workaround is to create a scope as shown in this example.
