By adding the AND function to the search operator for a filter or the search bar we can dramatically improve the usability off collibra for occasional users.
Collibra supports different types of search and filtering. They are all useful, but in most case they are useful for regular collibra users i.e. stewards, meta data specialist etc.
But for the occasional user the regular search is to limited, because there is no AND operator. The default is OR.
An example. I try to find data in collibra that meets the following criterium. I ‘am looking for assets where the meta data contains the text cashbalance AND contains the text mandate. To be precise I ‘am looking for cashbalance in the description of the table and the table should contain columns with mandate in the column name.
I can resolve that with the advanced search but that only works for regular users, and in my opinion that doesn’t work for occasional business users who are just looking for data they can use.
So my question. Is this already a topic on the roadmap. Or is the matter already solved?

·4 years ago · EditedThank you for that feedback. Would you mind sharing this information and example also in the comments on this idea: Advanced search - AND, OR and eg. ‘tag:’ ‘type:’ (and maybe add your vote?). If I understand correctly, it is not just the ‘AND’ operator that is required, but also the ability to search ‘in a relation’ of an asset?
