Schema Refresh Time
Can anyone advise on how to reduce the time taken to refresh a schema?
What features are lost if I deselect ‘Store data profile’ ?
What best practices do people use when setting up scheduled refreshes?

Not sure if I get your question correctly, but if you remove “Store data profile”, the refresh will surely be faster as it will skip the profiling feature, it is the most time consuming process during the ingestion/refresh. As for best practices, you can do profiling during your initial ingestion and deactivate it for future refreshes. You can always go back on your schema asset to change this option anytime.
