Show issue count on dashboard

Does anyone know if there is an easy way to show a count of issues, by issue category, on the dashboard? I am not a developer, so use of the API is not really an option.

Its not greyed out - it just doesnt respond. Very strange. Cancel works, however.

I will try again - and wait longer.

I got it to work to count the number of data issues! Now I want it to count the number of each category of data issue. I cant seem to find an attribute for that. I know there are 14 different categories.

Also, I noticed your example shows “Security Issue” - I assume that is an asset type you created?

The issue category is a another asset, not an attribute. It’s related through the Issue--categorized by-->Issue Category relation type.

Arthur, I have configured widgets before, so thanks. Unfortunately, when I select Issue, Data Issue, or Issue Category as the asset type, I cant save. I press the save button and nothing happens. So either Issue (or its variants) are not allowed to be selected or I’ve found a bug. Version 5.7.6

Did you fill in the Filter Label field? otherwise the Save button will remain greyed out until you do.
Just tried, works perfectly on my end. If it does not on yours, you should check with support.
