Show unmapped columns
Hi All,
the Excel Import and its automap function in Collibra is very helpful.
However, can I find out whoich columns are NOT mapped. it only states the NUMBER of Columns not mapped.
Best wishes

·5 years ago · EditedYou can create a view and when you import to that view you can just validate if everything is mapped or not. Not mapped columns will be the empty columns coming because of junk values

OP5 years ago · EditedThanks Steve, good to know that there is currenly no other way as you proposed - I solved it in a similar way. However, if you have > 50 columns, that a tedious task
I will post it to ideation

There isn’t a way to list the columns that are not mapped. It would be a nice feature to have but you should post to the ideation portal as a request.
I usually try to remove all columns I know I will not need before I perform the update. If something doesn’t map then I know a header is wrong.
