Technical Lineage in Edge, Link Server Phantoms
Who knows how to customize the Edge lineage template for SQL to alias linked server names? We have tried so many things in the mapping box and can’t solve it.
Linked servers create two nodes when stored procedures call them. This is well documented but there is only documentation for deprecated lineage harvester.
It looks like database listed twice, but one has a long list of phantom systems which are truly the linked server names with the same databases below, so lineage is broken.
If not that, looking for code to do same thing in the deprecated lineage harvester
