·4 years ago · Edited@aniruddha.a.banerjee.accenture.com The TERADATA “connector” on the Marketplace is a certified JDBC by Collibra; thus it is a fully “paid” service and is a supported product when purchased via the Collibra marketplace. The link to the driver gives greater details as to what the purchase allocation entails. But please know that essentially “free” means buyer beware(!) and use at your own peril; Collibra does not support free drivers connected to Collibra, nor will Collibra diagnose any issues or attempt to resolve any operational problems in the usage of the free driver (Collibra will not engage to support customers or partners on free product installations) nor will Collibra allow to be engaged in any high level discussions to address technical difficulties in its usage or debugging. In the end, there are no guarantees that the free JDBC driver will work with anyone version of Collibra or future ones. The onus resides entirely with the user of the free driver to ensure technical compatibility and for its future use.
JDBC Driver for Teradata - Collibra Marketplace
The JDBC driver allows Collibra Catalog to register Teradata data sources.
