Transfer responsibilities from one user to another

Question

How can one apply the responsibilities that user X has to user Y. For example:
If user X is the business steward for 5 assets, and has now left the organisation. How do we easily transfer (assign) the user Y to those 5 assets, instead of doing this manually. In our organisation we find that the business stewards are responsibile for quite a large chunk of assets, and its a very time consuming exercise to assign them manually.

Many different ways to do that. Rest API Workflow (Java API) Global view => Filter: Owner equals X, edit => Apply to all rows => Done! Take your pick!
