Working with various character sets

Question

Hello, working in an international group, we may have to work, in the near future, with characters that do not exist in English, eg ą à, etc … If there are specific things to do to prevent issues with some features (Search? Workfllows? …), please let me know.

Hello @ann.wuyts , thank you for your reply. Our colleagues in China have successfully used Chinese characters in the Search bar, in filters on columns in views and in uploads with Excel files. So far, no specific issue detected. Best regards

No specific advice. Search and input forms, I know to handle this correctly, eg. ł = l, é = e. With workflows, I am less familiar. I’ll gladly keep an eye on this thread, as I’m curious if there are any best-practice tips I can learn.
