Deleting multiple values from relationship
Hi All,
I have a business term created and I have included a relationship “represents data asset” where I have linked this business term to multiple columns from physical data dictionary.
Now, I want to modify these values and keep relationships only with 1 table and delete others.
Since, there are over ~4000 such entries, manual deletion is not feasible.
Is there a quicker way to achieve this?
Thanks in advance.

There are multiple ways to achieve what you’re trying to do. Please be very careful utilising any of these and confirm you’re aware of exactly what the implications will be as they may not be easily undone.
Using the UI - On a global view you could filter to all Columns that have the relevant relationship to your specific Business Term. If you add the relevant relationship to the view, you could then bulk select all the columns,. Then select one Column’s relationship to the Business Term on the view. Remove it, and select “Apply to all fields”.
Workflow - Writing a workflow that will remove a given asset’s relationships if they match a specific relationship type. This would remove all relationships from that given asset. Alternatively you could supply it the asset Id of the asset you want it to retain relations with, and it can be set to remove the rest.
REST API - same as #2 but utilising the REST APIs.
