Modeling Data backups

Hi There,

Greetings from Down Under.

Has anyone had to model data backup (i.e. another step in data lineage) for either data sovereignty or data privacy use cases?

Any insights appreciated.

Thanks Arthur,

Currently thinking the technology asset (e.g. database server) has a “backed up to” relationship with a technology asset (i.e. the actual backup medium). We’re also looking at a new asset for location, technology asset “is located at” location.

No, I guess it’s not that difficult. Depending on your needs for specificity, just subtype a technology asset and create a new relationship to represent this, no?
