Building Reporting Specifications in Collibra

Reporting Specifications I want to Build out my reporting specification in Collibra hand it to a Tableau builder dude Tableau report is subsequently built and harvested into Collibra, along with lovely lineage to Redshift My Q is, what asset types do you use to build the report specification? This is a business asset so it feels wrong to use Data Set & Data Element. I could use Report, with Business Terms, Metrics & KPI for the report grain/constituents. Then; relate the Report to the actual Tableau blue assets (Dashboard or Worksheet) via OOTB Business Asset groups Business Asset. if keen, relate the functional grain to the Tableau Data Attribute via Business Asset represented by Data Attribute. I ask also b/c we have legacy Report Catalogs with Tableau reports built manually as Report and Report Attributes that I want to keep, because our business users get confused by the Tableau Op Model.... so it's easier to leave them there and just relate them to the harvested Dashboard etc. Anyway, keen to hear what others have done.

Hi Community, I am currently working for a client on a specific Dashboard. Therefore, I tried to embed the search widget in the html editor. Unfortunately unsuccessful... Is there any way to embed widgets in the html editor? Thanks & Best Tristan

Onboarding of a new Data Source | your best practice advice needed
Dear community, does anybody have a process of onboarding a new Data Source for your Data Products? Which information do you document in Collibra for a new Data Source? We currently would like to re-use System asset type for documenting Data Sources for our Data Products in collibra. We alse added Integration Properties tab (to be filled in by Data Engineers later):

Pulling Source Tags from Databricks to Collibra via Edge
Hi, I'm a new Collibra Dev. I'm wondering if there is a way for us to sync source tags from Databricks to Collibra via Edge? I saw a few documentations that we can only ingest source tags only from Snowflakes. Is this still true today?

Inside Asset Searching
Hello, When I'm in a single asset page, like a system asset, and I want to add a new relationship from inside, in this case "system of use for" is there a way to narrow the search based on database instead of having to scroll through everything from my query? The only two options I see is "only search display name," and "filter assets by organization." I've tried searching this, but I'm not sure how to describe it to get proper instruction.

connect to DB2 AS400iseries server using the Username and Password Connection Template from Edge Server
We are trying to connect to DB2 AS400iseries server using the Username and Password Connection Template and the following creds: Username: abc Password: xyz DriverClass: com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver Driver Jar: jt400.jar String: jdbc:as400://Server: SecurePor t/database Error msg: Test jdbc connection failed (SQL state: 08001, error code: -99999): SQLNonTransientConnectionException: The application requester cannot establish the connection. (Connection was dropped unexpectedly.) com.collibra.edge.sdk.exceptions.JdbcConnectionException: Error occurred while connecting to 'jdbc:as400://server:secureport/database' with driver 'com.ibm.as400.access.AS400JDBCDriver'. NB: The connection is successful if we do not add the port, here we use the connection string: 'jdbc:as400://server/database' It has been suggested that for secure port connection we have to use SSL certificates. We know that Edge does not read certificates located in /etc/pki/ca-trust/extracted/java/cacerts The question is, how does this work? 1. Do we upload the certificate file in the properties, 2. What is the SSL file version? Any help will be most appreciated.

Data Quality is not being monitored
Hi Everyone, I’ve been trying to set up a Data Quality Tab in the Asset Page in Collibra Physical Data Dictionary, but despite going through hundreds of pages of Collibra documentation and training materials on Collibra University, I still haven’t been able to get it right. The Quality tab isn’t returning any results, and I’m getting a message that “Data Quality is not being monitored". I’m also confused about the difference between Data Asset Quality (with rules and metrics set in Collibra) and the Data Quality and Observability product (with its own set of rules and metrics). Could someone here please explain the difference? If anyone has any good guidelines or could share a universal, simplest setup example that I could test to get the Quality tab working, that would be fantastic.

Database views for BI reporting - Manual ingestion
Hello everyone, I would need to catalog HANA database views information used for BI reporting, I'm talking about views/tables/columns and related features. Validation Rule script using "isequal" seems to return true/valid regardless of values.
My use case: Validate that the Name and Full Name attributes have the same value. The script rule { isEqual(attributes.'Full Name'.first(), attributes.'Name'.first(), message:"The Full Name and Name attributes must have the same value" ) } The rule returns valid/true -- even when the values are different. I've also tried this: rule { isEqual(attributes.'Full Name'?.first(), attributes.'Name'?.first(), message:"The Full Name and Name attributes must have the same value" ) } and this: rule { isEqual(attributes.'Full Name', attributes.'Name', message:"The Full Name and Name attributes must have the same value" ) } Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
