candidate user problem

I got this error when I tried to add a new asset : 

Candidate User Problem
There were no suitable candidate(s) for the task 'Review update (AC)' with the role 'Area Coordinator' for 'STU - GradFund - Graduate Student Funding' or they don't have permission to participate in workflows.

Does anyone know how to resolve it? Thanks!

Hi Wendy,

I don't know all the details of the workflow or your environment, but here are a few areas I would investigate:

  • Make sure users participating in the workflow with the "Area Coordinator..." role have the right permissions to participate. I believe users need at least a Standard license.
  • Confirm you have appropriate responsibilities assigned to a resource if you're running the workflow against an asset, domain, or community.

If that doesn't help, feel free to share more with the community about the workflow, how its supposed to run, etc. to help troubleshoot.

Hi Wendy,

You need to assign Area Coordinator role for the workflow against domain. Once you add the role to domain your issue will resolve.
