Can/Should a Report Asset reference a Data Set ?

Hi,
we are starting to setup data in Collibra. We are going to be storing Reports, and we want to have Data Sets for self service.

Our Reports tend ot be built around sets of columns, those sets likely being reused amongst different reports.
We probably also what that same set of columns ot be available as a DataSet for self service.
So it is tempting to have a DataSet with sets of columns, and the change the relations to allow a Report to reference a Data Set.
THere is a way to group Report Attributes into sets of Report Attributes, but setting that up would seem to duplicate what we already know we will want in the Data Catalog, so does it not make sense to have Reports reference Data Sets ? Or am I missing potential pitfalls ?
