Unable to use Data Quality functionality with Collibra Trial Version

Hi All:
I am new to Collibra and trying out Trial version with the intent of using it for detecting anomalies in data 
using Data Quality functionality.
The version itself is hosted on Google Cloud VM (Compute Instance).
The data being tried out is in one of the Tables in Database running on GCP MySQL Service instance.
As first step - I am able to create connection from Collibra portal to Database (mentioned above).
The connection is visible too in explorer on Collibra portal.
However, on entering Database name in the search window beneath Connection - a rather un-instructive message box
hinting at undefined error appears.
This same thing happends "trainingDB" provided out of box in the Trial version.
Am I doing something wrong ? Missing any Steps ?
