Collibra Data Quality Connector

I'm helping out with a PoC where the client is evaluating Collibra Catalog and Collibra Data Quality. I have a couple of questions related to the integration between the two products. Is the DQ Connector still the recommended way on how Collibra DQ rules and metrics are synced into Collibra Catalog? If so, why does the doc mention it's deprecated and is there a newer way to sync from the Collibra Data Quality Product into Collibra Catalog? 

Being able to see the quality score of a table or column in the Catalog is important for the PoC.
