Edge Site Going Offline
Hi,
Has anyone faced problem where the edge sites keep going offline or becoming unhealthy, when the profiling runs for long hours or when the location where edge site is installed is rebooted. We have had this happen multiple times and each time we work with support but there is no root cause identified. We checked with the AWS platform team where the edge site is hosted and they also couldn’t fine a root cause . The solution has been the same each time so far, to uninstall and reinstall. It has been quite frustrating not getting this stabilized or knowing the root cause.
Have you experienced anything similar or any other issues with Edge?

The solution for this issue that kill all the process and restart the server it works.

The problem is with the restart, the movement the edge instance goes offline, the AWS Ec2 instance Session manager also goes offline and I am not able to connect to it. The only other option I have is to setup another ec2 instance and setup all the configuration again.
I checked with the AWS team as well, and they checked everything from their side and couldn’t find any errors . Before i install the edge site, the reboot works and there is no issue. But the movement i install the edge site on the Ec2 instance, and then i reboot, it fails.

I just experienced this issue. I had a support ticket open for quite awhile. Several propesed solutions were tried and none of them worked. I had to uninstall/reinstall edge as well.
