Collibra and Data Bricks connector
Does anyone have experience using Data Bricks and how it can be integrated with Collibra?

Data bricks is one of the sources from where we are ingesting metadata into Collibra; we are using the Collibra provided JDBC driver for it. What type of help/directions/suggestions are you looking for?
Thanks,
Ritesh

Thanks for the info Ritesh. We currently have a one-way integration with Workday into Collibra, but looking to expand with other source systems. Because we did not use the Collibra provided JDBC driver for Workday, can you tell me how complicated it was using that driver to ingest from Data Bricks into Collibra and any suggestions you have for organizations looking to do this?
Can you provide an overview of your process?
Thanks,
Christy

It was easy enough to set that integration up by following the instructions listed on Collibra’s documentation:
https://productresources.collibra.com/docs/collibra/latest/Content/Catalog/RegisterDataSource/JDBC/ref_db-connection-details-collibra-provided-driver.htm?catalog-connector-details=databricks
You can use push down sampling if needed but apart from that your Data bricks admin should be able to provide you with the required connection properties.
For authentication, you can either use of the credentials or token based approach. Most of the integration that we have setup for Collibra are via using the Collibra provided JDBC drivers. I hope this helps!
Thanks,
Ritesh
