JIRA integration with Collibra

Hi,

I have a request to integrate JIRA with Collibra.

I came across this -Jira Service Desk Bidirectional Collibra Integration that Collibra offers.

How is this different from calling JIRA rest APIs in workflows?

Also, If anyone has developed something like this, please share the approach.
