David C. asked:
Have you ever experienced a data analytics team say "we don't really care about where the data comes from our what it means, we just need data"

Raghav V. asked:

Would you say that DG for AI is a separate entity than DG for Data? Or, are these 2 integrated?

They are definitely related. Good data is foundational for reliable and accurate AI. So if your data governance is weak you are not going to get the most from AI.

Are Data Sets a part of a data product in your definition?  Meaning Data Sets feed or are the import port for the data product.

Donna O. asked:

How do we ensure that a data product is not misused? Does it come back to literacy and users understanding restrictions?

Yes, I think linking data products with data access and of course awareness would be critical. For example, Collibra data basket functionality could be used to ensure that data products are accessed only following correct approvals.

Salam A. asked:

What is the difference between a data product and a use case? Can we consider a use case as a scenarios that describes a need of the business that could grow up to be a data product?

Yes, in my view I would say use cases are the business needs such as "Improve customer churn currently at X present". To resolve this perhaps you would need several data products. Overtime use case can change and we should be able to understand what data products were associated with their success.
