Why does Collibra update its UI so often?

We've seen the 2024.11 changes in our lower environment and noticed the difference in the search results look. Is this really necessary? We are fairly new in Collibra and still continuing our efforts for user adoption. In fact, we just recreated our training materials based on the changes in the UI in the past months. Seeing the frequent changes can be confusing and frustrating especially for new users.

Is there a way to opt out on these UI changes?

@user_aa09d2  this how v2024.10 looks at our side. Your screenshot of v2024.10 is too short, to be able to evaluate it.

v2024.11 is a ripper ... moved the waffle to the left and made it a pop out!

I wonder if this has to do with programming around the Data Marketplace / Catalog User global permission? Maybe the slider was integrated too far into those permissions, and it was easier to hide the slider and create a tab.

At least with 2024.11 we can hide reference to the Data Marketplace completely until we are ready to roll it out to our users.

I believe clients, including us, were complaining about the Search Data Marketplace toggle because the search results were completely different if the toggle was on or off.  Collibra seems to be making reactionary UI changes, not having a long-term plan that would provide a consistent look and feel.  Once you go to the new UI, the only way to opt out of the UI changes, would be to opt out of the upgrades, which wouldn't be a long-term solution.
