If you need to notify someone about the status of data quality, I would build a Workflow to notify the steward about assets that pass a threshold. The only thing is our color pattern is not customizable, and you cannot get to the color. You would need other attributes like threshold attribute/s to handle the logic of the breaking point for notification. If you want a formal report, you could use the insights report option to get the data out, but that does not support the aggregation path. You would need to do that in Tableau manually. You could also use the output module to pull content from DGC and write it to a database. From that point, you could build reports. In most cases, I’ve seen people build the report directly from the DQ tool rather than DGC.
Do you know if it is possible to call Validation Rules from a workflow? The idea is to validate all business terms based on the created validation rules. It is similar to that “Validate” button from a Business Term view. From the view page, we have that 2000 rows limitation. Do you have documentation for that?
