Dynamically alter User Task Form after Rendered?

Hey all,

I have a guided asset revision process that reminds SMEs of the things that they have to do, complete with colour coded summaries and details. When the user clicks the Submit button, the workflow either continues or refreshes User Task with the things they still need to do. Everything works well:

But what I’d really like is to be able to have the user task form dynamically respond to signal events (such as ASSET_ATTRIBUTE_ADDED) so that it either redraws itself (or cancels or completes) on-screen. Some of those red reminders would turn black, and the form would better reflect reality.

Anyone have any suggestions?

P.S. For this of you that have seen the Ask-the-Expert MP workflow via Collibra University, you might be forgiven if you wondered if the SME would get an error if they responded in the Comment area (instead of the form) and then tried to click on the form button. (Hint: The user task doesn’t exist anymore, even though the form is still presented to the user.)
