Workflow Designer Versioning Functionality and Documentation

I’m curious about the versioning capability in the new Workflow Designer. It appears that both the Application and the component Models have versions associated with them, which I’m very excited about. To date we have maintained version history by uploading our .bpmn files to a code repository (currently Github) and it would nice to have a baked in method, which this appears to be. However, I’m having the following issues:

1. The Application version does not seem to auto-increment and I can see no way to create a new version of the application. It does appear that there is a mechanism for viewing all versions and possibly selecting other versions, but I can’t test this since the version seems to be locked at v1.

2. For the models, it appears to be auto-incrementing the version each time the model is saved. However, I cannot find a way to view and select previous versions.

I’ve looked at the Support and Citizens posts and can’t find a topic on this. Additionally, there seems to be no discussion of this within the Workflow Designer documentation.
